Headshot Booth in Kansas City

A headshot station is one of the most popular things a company can add to a conference or event. Attendees step out of a session, spend a couple of minutes in front of a real backdrop and lights, and leave with a photo they'll actually use on LinkedIn and your website. For the organizer it's an easy draw that people remember.

I set up a backdrop and lighting near registration, the lounge or the sponsor hall, coach each person through a couple of quick poses, and deliver one edited image per person in a private online gallery within five business days. It's $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum: $600 for two hours, $1,200 for a half day, $2,400 for a full day.

Kichdimna Photography runs professional headshot stations at conferences, trade shows and company events across the Kansas City metro for $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum: $600 for two hours, $1,200 for up to four hours, and $2,400 for up to eight. The price includes the backdrop and lighting, one edited image per person, and a private online gallery within five business days. The business carries $1M/$2M general liability insurance with a same-day certificate of insurance, and provides a W-9 and net-30 invoicing.

Ask a Question
How much does a headshot booth cost in Kansas City? +
Of the Kansas City photographers checked in October 2026, one publishes a headshot booth rate: $1,200 for a half day and $2,400 for a full day. On-site group headshots elsewhere run about $45–$60 per person for larger groups. Kichdimna Photography's headshot station is $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum: $600 for two hours, $1,200 for a half day and $2,400 for a full day.
Is a headshot booth the same as a photo booth? +
No. A photo booth is for fun group shots with props. A headshot station is a professional portrait setup, with a backdrop, studio lighting and a photographer coaching each person, that produces a clean head-and-shoulders photo people can use on LinkedIn, company websites and speaker bios.
How many people can you photograph per hour? +
As a planning guide, about 20 people an hour, with a couple of minutes each. If you expect a rush at the breaks, a half day spreads the line out, or a second photographer can be added.
How do attendees get their photos? +
Each person gets one edited image, delivered in a private online gallery within five business days. You can share the gallery link with attendees or send it with your post-event email.
What do you need from us? +
About a 10-by-10-foot space near a power outlet, the event schedule, and an expected headcount. Everything else, including the backdrop, lights and camera, comes with me.
Can you do this at our office instead of an event? +
Yes. A headshot station works the same way for a team headshot day at your office. For a small team, the on-site Team session ($450 for up to five people, three retouched images each) on the corporate headshots page may fit better.
Can you also photograph the event itself? +
Yes. Event coverage starts at $250 for one hour or $450 for two, and a second photographer can run the headshot station while I cover the event, or the other way around.
Are you insured, and can you invoice our company? +
Yes. Kichdimna Photography carries $1M/$2M general liability insurance and can send a certificate of insurance naming your company or venue the same day, along with a W-9 and an itemized invoice. Half reserves the date and the balance is invoiced on net-30 terms.
