Holiday Minis in Kansas City
Holiday photos have one job: a card that goes out on time. A 20-minute mini gets it done — you arrive dressed, we shoot while the children still have patience, and the gallery is back within 5–7 business days.
Sessions are $185 for 20 minutes and 15+ professionally edited images for up to five people. Locations are Kansas City parks, your own home with the tree up, or a tree farm by arrangement. These are family sessions — I don't provide a Santa or a studio set, which is part of why they cost less than the $200–$295 most Kansas City minis run.

Twenty minutes, dressed and ready
Come camera-ready. I direct the whole time — a couple of group frames, the children on their own, a candid or two — and we're done before anyone melts down.

When are your Christmas mini session dates?
Slots are released weekend by weekend from mid-November into December. To have cards in hand before Christmas, book a session in November; galleries take 5–7 business days and card printers need a week or two on top. Send the weekend you want through the contact form and I'll reply within 24 hours with the open times.
How much do Christmas mini sessions cost in Kansas City?
Kichdimna Photography's holiday minis are $185 for 20 minutes with 15+ edited images for up to five people. Most Kansas City holiday minis run $200–$295, often for 10–15 minutes.
Are they indoors or outdoors?
Either. Outdoors in a Kansas City park with winter light is classic; at home with your tree up is warmer, literally, and suits small children. A tree farm can be arranged if you'd like that look — I confirm access with the farm first.
Do you have a Santa?
No — these are family sessions, not Santa visits. If a Santa photo matters to you, Crown Center and several Kansas City malls run them, and your mini can be the family portrait to go with it.
What should we wear?
Coordinate, don't match. Cream, deep green, burgundy, camel, and denim photograph well together in winter light; matching plaid on everyone reads dated. Layers and boots for outdoor sessions — it is November.
How many people can come?
Up to five in a mini. Grandparents and multiple households are better served by the $395 Extended Family session, which runs 90 minutes.
