A mini session is a short, fixed-length booking at a set location and time: you arrive, we shoot for twenty minutes while the light is at its best, and you leave with more than enough for cards, frames, and grandparents.
Mine are $185 for 20 minutes, one location, and 15+ professionally edited images for up to five people. Most Kansas City photographers charge $200–$295 for 10–15 minutes and 10+ images, so you get more time and more photographs for less.

How much do fall mini sessions cost in Kansas City?

What is a mini session?
A mini session is a short booking at a set date, location, and time slot. Because several families are photographed on the same evening at the same spot, the cost per family is much lower than a full private session. The trade-off is less time and one location, which is plenty for holiday cards and a few framed favorites.
How long is a fall mini session and how many photos do we get?
Twenty minutes of shooting and 15+ professionally edited high-resolution images, delivered in a private online gallery within 5–7 business days with downloads included.
How many people can be in a fall mini session?
Up to five. Extended families, multiple households, or groups that want individual portraits as well as a group shot are better served by the $395 Golden Hour Family session, which runs 90 minutes and includes 100+ images.
When are your fall mini session dates?
Slots are released weekend by weekend through late October and into early November, scheduled around sunset and around where the color actually is that week. Send the weekend you want through the contact form and I'll reply within 24 hours with the open times and location.
Can we do a pumpkin patch mini session?
Most pumpkin patches and tree farms require a photographer to have permission before shooting a paid session on their property, and some charge a fee or don't allow it at all. Tell me the patch you have in mind and I'll confirm their rules before we book, so nobody gets turned away at the gate.
